The artist’s avatar and all other elements were created using the “character creation” tools provided within each game. There was no use of hacking, programing, or other methods beyond the options provided within the game itself used to augment each piece. The inherent limitations of the game tools present a conceptual challenge to craft digital representations of the self which accurately reflect the nature of the artist’s personae, vs. the essentialized character presumed by the game’s designers.</p>
